Grand Rapids, MI – September 12, 2025 – Applied Innovation, a complete office technology provider based in Grand Rapids, is thrilled to announce its 7th Annual Casino Royale, an evening of high-energy fun and philanthropy. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the company’s Grand Rapids headquarters.
Each year, Casino Royale brings together clients, team members, and community partners for an unforgettable night of blackjack, poker, roulette, signature cocktails, and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, all to benefit the Children’s Healing Center. Last year’s event raised just over $45,000, and this year, Applied Innovation is setting its sights even higher to make an even greater impact for children and families navigating serious medical challenges.
“At Applied Innovation, we believe that business success and community impact go hand in hand,” said Casey Lowery, President of Applied Innovation. “Casino Royale is one of my favorite nights of the year because it brings together our clients, team members, and community partners for a cause that’s truly close to our hearts. The Children’s Healing Center creates a safe place for families navigating incredibly difficult journeys, and we’re honored to play a role in helping them continue their life-changing work.”
The Children’s Healing Center provides a safe, year-round recreational space for children with weakened immune systems, offering play, socialization, and learning opportunities for kids and young adults up to age 26, and their families, free of charge. The center’s programs are designed to foster connection, encourage healing through play, and create a sense of belonging for families facing the complexities of serious health conditions.
Melissa Block, Director of Growth and Development for the Children’s Healing Center added, “Applied Innovation’s continued commitment through Casino Royale is truly inspiring. Their generosity allows us to create a welcoming, fun, and safe space for families facing medical challenges, and it means so much to know our community stands behind them.”
Casino Royale will feature a variety of exciting prizes donated by generous local businesses, such as the Beats N’ Eats Package from 20 Monroe Live and Brewery Vivant, a 55” LED Smart TV from United Image Group, a high-end Bourbon experience from Two James Distillery, High Rollers Escape from Firekeepers Casino, and more!
Applied Innovation extends thanks to this year’s event sponsors, whose generosity helps make Casino Royale a success including: THL Insurance, Paycom, Grand Rapids Auto Gallery, Varnum, LD Products, Lacks, Eikenhout, Etna Supply, Full Circle, Alera Group, Acrisure, Ricoh, Canon, Wells Fargo, Great America, VTC, Distribution Management, and Christine Boelkins.
