Applied Innovation Acquires American Office Solutions, Expanding Its Michigan Footprint

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, January 28, 2026 — Applied Innovation (“Applied”), a Michigan-based, family-owned provider of office technology and managed services, announced the acquisition of American Office Solutions (“AOS”), a trusted managed print services provider serving organizations throughout Michigan.

Founded in 1969, AOS has built a reputation for delivering top-tier Managed Print Services, exceptional customer care, and a deeply personal approach to client relationships. With more than five decades of experience, AOS has remained focused on improving clients’ document environments and workflows, a philosophy that aligns closely with Applied’s people-first, service-driven culture.

As part of the acquisition, AOS customers will continue to be served by many of the same local team members they know and trust, now supported by Applied’s expanded resources, technology partnerships, and service offerings. AOS will operate under the Applied name and leadership team, ensuring continuity while enhancing long-term capabilities for customers across Michigan.
