Applied Imaging, one of the USA’s largest and most successful office technology dealerships, has acquired Kopy Sales, Inc. of Traverse City, effective June 1, 2020. Under the agreement, Applied Imaging will move their Traverse City operations into the Kopy Sales Robinwood Ct. facility and Kopy Sales service and sales personnel will continue to support current customers. Since both companies are authorized Kyocera sales and service providers, the transition for Kopy Sales customers will be seamless. However, as Applied Imaging customers, they now have access to a host of additional products and services. “We welcome both Kopy Sales customers and employees into the Applied Imaging family,” said John Lowery, Applied Imaging’s President and Founder. “The customers will immediately reap the benefits of our extended line-up of manufacturers that includes Canon and Ricoh, two of the world’s most admired brands. Plus, they now have access to our managed IT and network services, secure document shredding company, document management hardware and software solutions, wide format printing and much more.” “This acquisition combines two entrepreneurial companies with strong cultures,” said Kopy Sales President, Brian Springstead. “Like Kopy Sales, Applied Imaging is deeply rooted in innovation and delivering an exceptional customer service experience.” About Applied Imaging Lowery founded Applied Imaging in 1987. From its roots in Grand Rapids, the company has grown to over 450 employees with offices in Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Lansing, Traverse City, Flint, Petoskey, Alpena, Novi, Ann Arbor, Clio, and Toledo, Ohio.
