Grand Rapids, MI – October 12, 2026 – Applied Innovation brought together clients, team members, sponsors, and community partners for its 8th Annual Casino Royale on Wednesday, October 7, raising $70K in support of the Children’s Healing Center.
Held at Applied Innovation’s Grand Rapids headquarters, Casino Royale transformed the space into a casino-inspired experience featuring craps, blackjack, poker and roulette, a high-stakes blackjack tournament, live entertainment, prize drawings and auction opportunities, along with food and cocktails.
Now in its eighth year, Casino Royale has become one of Applied Innovation’s signature community events, bringing people together for an evening of fun while supporting children and families navigating complex medical diagnoses. Proceeds from Casino Royale benefit the Children’s Healing Center, the nation’s first year-round recreation center designed for children and young adults with weakened immune systems
“Eight years into Casino Royale, I continue to be amazed by the generosity of the people who make this night possible,” said Casey Lowery, President of Applied Innovation. “Our clients, team members, sponsors and community partners show up year after year because they believe in what the Children’s Healing Center provides for families. We’re incredibly proud that this event continues to grow and that, together, we can help make a meaningful difference for kids right here in our community.”
“Applied Innovation has been an incredible partner to the Children’s Healing Center, and their commitment over the past eight years has made a meaningful difference for the families we serve,” said Melissa Block, Director of Development & Growth at the Children’s Healing Center. “Casino Royale is a shining example of what can happen when a community comes together to make sure kids and young adults facing serious health challenges still have opportunities for fun, friendship and belonging.”
Applied Innovation and the Children’s Healing Center extend their gratitude to the sponsors, attendees, volunteers and community partners whose generosity helped make the 8th Annual Casino Royale possible. Since its inception, this event has raised nearly $300K for the Children’s Healing Center.
