Applied Innovation’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic Raises Record $87K for A Kid Again Michigan

Grand Rapids, MI (August 11, 2026) – Applied Innovation proudly hosted its 3rd Annual Golf Classic on August 10 at the University of Michigan Golf Course, bringing together customers, partners, team members, and community supporters to benefit A Kid Again Michigan. Through the generosity of golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, the event raised more than $87K to help provide cost-free outings for children with life-threatening health conditions and their families.

Now in its third year, the Applied Innovation Golf Classic has become one of the company’s signature charitable events, reflecting its longstanding commitment to serving the communities where its team members live and work. Proceeds from this year’s outing will directly support A Kid Again’s mission of providing year-round Adventures that give children and their families an opportunity to step away from treatments to simply enjoy time together.

“At Applied Innovation, a passion for service extends far beyond the work we do for our customers. It means showing up for the communities we serve,” said Casey Lowery, President of Applied Innovation. “The Golf Classic is a reflection of that commitment, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped raise more than $87K to support the incredible families served by A Kid Again. Together, we’re making a lasting difference.”

Amy Vining, Executive Director of A Kid Again Michigan, expressed her appreciation for the partnership and the support generated through the event.

“The Applied Innovation Golf Classic is so much more than a day on the course. Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter is helping create moments of joy for families who spend so much of their lives navigating doctor’s appointments, treatments, and uncertainty. Because of this incredible community, more children across Michigan will have the opportunity to experience the hope, happiness, and healing that come from simply getting to be a kid again. We’re deeply grateful to Applied Innovation and everyone who makes this event possible.”
