Our Wellness Committee has started off our Nutrition Challenge for the next six weeks with the Applied Imaging gang. During this time, it’s all about the small changes each day that yield to big changes over time. We will take one item to focus on, adding a new fruit, swapping our pasta noodles for spaghetti squash, or simply focusing on proper hydration. Proper nutrition not only assists in weight maintenance but studies show it aids in reversing some chronic diseases such as high cholesterol or type 2 diabetes.
It is so important to remember to set realistic goals for your health. An unrealistic goal can set you up to fail and further set back. Don’t be afraid to celebrate your successes along the way, and find an accountability partner to work with you as you set new goals. Follow along with us!
