Applied Innovation is looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic, and detail-oriented candidate to fill a full-time Service Technical Development and Support Trainer position at our Southfield, Michigan office. The candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills. Certifications and experience with Ricoh, Canon, or other manufacturer’s Multi-Function Devices are required.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement manufacturer/vendor training guidelines to help technicians achieve certifications.
- Assist in the development/design of training curriculum in areas such as technical procedures, skills, and techniques in accordance with company initiatives and strategies.
- Conduct ride-along training for individual technicians to help develop proper habits and techniques.
- Implement new product and product update training.
- Provide phone/virtual support for technicians in the field.
- Maintain personal certifications on new products and product updates.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 and other multi-media tools to deliver instructions, demonstrations, and workshops to the highest standards.
- Ability to take on special projects and develop implementation plans to achieve project objectives.
- 20% travel, mainly within Michigan, is required.
